This week a very good friend of mine dropped me a note saying she would appreciate some ideas for a Christmas Party outfit.
I was thrilled to accept the challenge, as you can imagine looking at party outfits and accessories is a pleasure rather than a chore.
The brief for my search differed to when I looked for my recent wedding outfit, as the lady in question was open to anything and everything.
Oh hellooo Pandora’s box!!
Here are some of my favourite outfits and accessories.
Jumpsuits are a great, comfortable alternative to a dress, this off the shoulder warehouse one is beautiful, great for those with shape to their hips giving definition to your waist.
Accessories wise you could make a real feature of your collar bone, worn high this necklace would draw the eye up to your face.
If you like understated shimmer and not all out bling when it comes to your party dresses, I really like this one from oasis. The fit and flare style will suit shapely girls, accessories wise I’d keep them pretty simple so that the dress can be the focus.
If at the mere mention of the Christmas party, your only image is of you looking as much like a glitter ball as possible then this is my hot tip all over sequin dress. My favourite is from French Connection the Moonbeam is exactly that. What a show stopper, no accessories needed here as the dress is all anyone will be looking at.
Shoes on the other hand, these strappy heels from Office
are the only other thing necessary for this disco diva look.
From chic to shimmery to all out disco diva, these are some of my fave’s I hope you like them too. Do you have a Style SOS feel free to set me a challenge, contact me through either my website or comment on my facebook page to give me your brief.
