Winter Warmers – Coats to suit your taste.

I’ve had a busy old week, working with the lovely team at Cure in Lichfield We did some body shape analysis and wardrobe personality training so that their Personal Shopper appointments can offer you a second to none service. The team are now able to identify body shapes and understand individuals clothing tastes and offer you expert advice on how their collections can work for you.
I also had a chance to oooo and aaaahhh over their beautiful Autumn Winter collections which got me thinking about my own winter warmer.

So to share with you some of the things the Cure guys and I were discussing I thought I’d take a look at this seasons coats, in particular focusing on coats to suit your taste rather than just being trend led or the latest ‘it’ coat.

A very classic coat, and one which I’m after this year is the camel coat.
My favourite mainly for it’s cut and price is this one from Next

A camel coat much like a Pea Coat is a classic, it will return season after season and if you invest well will stand the test of time. Both of my choices are on the more cost effective side but still offer good quality, so in theory should last. But if your pocket can stretch, I would definitely look to invest in one of these shapes.

Styles like this will appeal to those who like to invest in good quality, prefer muted Neautral colours and love to look smart, but those who like to stand out from the crowd would feel boring in these.

Those with a dramatic tendency, who love to be noticed, always opting for the high fashion look in bold colours will love this oversized beauty which I spotted in Cure.
Animal print and oversized are a fashionista’s dream especially at this time of year, if this Marella Graz Coat appeals to you I bet you keep a keen eye on trends.

If you prefer your colours more bold than that, then the Katy Coat from Oasis in either orange or vivid yellow will have the wow factor you crave

Not sure any of these are for you? Well you may prefer a more natural look where the feel & texture of your clothing is important. Or are you a vintage fan, where your clothes must tell a story. If like me you prefer a smart look with a sporty edge I’ll bring some of my favourite coats covering off these three tastes next week so stay tuned for more Stylissimo Lust Have’s.
