Cute Cover ups- Bomber Jackets

After some pretty mixed weather recently, were I found myself reaching back into the cupboard for my winter coat, I thought the time is right to look at cute little cover ups. In particular I wanted to share ones which tick the latest Spring Summer trends, but also offer warmth on colder days but don’t feel too cumbersome should the sun come out.

Bomber jackets are great, very chic with heels, on trend and can be dressed down with converse for a quick trip to the shops.
I spotted this one from Gap at the beginning of the season as it also offers the Tropical print trend too, great teamed with jeans and heels for a cute bar/dinner with the girls outfit.

Another less colourful Tropical print option is this one from Topshop, who have by far the best range of this style of jacket Topshop Palm Print bomber

Vero Moda have this fab one both online at Asos but also in store.
It’s great value for money, and when teamed with the matching skirt you have the sports luxe trend going on too.

As I mentioned earlierTopshop have loads of great options featuring many different prints, but if I was going to buy one I’d go all out American Baseball and go for this one

Finally if you fancy all out glamour, I love this glitter crazy one again from Topshop,

and yes before you ask you can totally rock this with converse on the school run ;0)

This style of jacket looks great on those with a straight silhouette (ie not much definition at your waist). If you are curvy, please avoid this style as you are adding width at the narrowest part of your body (your waist) which will make you look wider than you actually are.
Don’t get me wrong I still love a great blazer and especially a biker style jacket, which are less likely to date but if you fancy something fun for the summer that you can throw on and not think about the Bomber is a great choice.
