As promised I’m working my way through each of the High Street brands taking a cheeky look at what they have in store for us as the weather turns cooler.
Warehouse is up next, I had a sneak peak at the collection they have collaborated on with Next for the Label catalogue and it’s lovely but these are my top five so far from the retailer themselves.
I have a winter wedding coming up and I’m determined not to wear black, this shift dress is perfect as it’s dark enough to feel wintery but the big bold blooms feel appropriate for a wedding.
Pink coats were massive in 2013 and it looks like it’s strong again this year, I like this Boucle Coat
The black flecks within the weave will allow you to team this with dark colours, which we tend to steer towards anyway in winter but also allowing the coat to stand out as a statement piece. This style of coat is best suited to those with little or no shaping to their hips, curvier girls this is not the best coat for you as it won’t sit in the right place on your hips. Sorry x
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, a good silk bomber will take you from summer right through to autumn (maybe not winter sadly though). If you want to be an individual and fancy an alternative to the kimono , as nice as they are many people have them, especially given the stat I read today that New Look have sold one every second since April!
These super cute, easy to throw on T-Bar Sandals will be cool enough to wear now, right through Autumn and add opaque tights and possibly into winter.
Available in Black, Red, Neautral and Metallic there are plenty to choose from.
I often talk about fit and flare skirts being the best option for girls with curves, this doesn’t automatically mean that you have to wear A line skirts. This Lampshade skirt offers the same theory. It nips you in at the waist (your narrowest point) and skims over your hips, dark opaque or patterned tights will take this into the winter months.
I hope you like my top 5 LustHave’s and welcome to the all new Stylissimo blog, for those avid readers this will be the new home for my previous blog AllAboutTheHeels. Feel free to get in touch and let me know if you like my choices, or not, more to come next week.
